Fireworks and Parades

Haddonfield holds their Independence Day Fireworks on the High School field just off Kins Highway. The gates open at 7:00 PM and the fireworks will begin at dusk (around 9:30 PM).  No charge for admission but donations are welcome.

Entertainment by The Shore Thing begins at 7:30 pm. Refreshments will be available at the Lions Club tent in the end zone. Hot dogs, pretzels and cold drinks will be sold. Water ice will also be available.

Rain date for fireworks is July 5rh 

Smoking and pets are prohibited on school property.

July 4th 2009

TD Bank brings you a FREE night of music and fireworks with Mayor Bernie Platt and Cherry Hill Township as they celebrate Independence Day! The even takes place at Cherry Hill West. The fun-filled night will open with live music featuring Bizarre Silence.

Gates open at 7 p.m. Music begins at 8 p.m. followed by fireworks at 9 p.m.

This event is also sponsored by Cherry Hill Mall and Comcast Cable.

The rain date for this event is Sunday, July 5.

The Camden County Concert and Firewoks features Foghat and the Marshall Tucker Band at the Cooper River Park.  This concert is brought to you by WMGK and runs from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM

In Collingswood,  fireworks, festivities and the return of the Collingswood Pops. he Collingswood Pops will take the stage in the Borough for the second time to celebrate America’s independence. The 17 piece orchestra will play at 8 pm at the High School Stadium to entertain the crowd and play patriotic tunes during the fireworks. Admission is free. Gates open at 6:30. Fireworks kick off at approximately 9:15 p.m. at the high school stadium (424 Collings Ave).

Township Honors Memorial Day

This even will take place Monday, May 25 at 11:00 AM at the Cherry Hill Municipal complex.

Join Mayor Bernie Platt along with members of the American Legion Post 372 and Jewish War Veterans of the USA, Furer-Barag-Wolf Post 126 as they honor the men and women who have made a commitment to serve our country at the annual Memorial Day Tribute. Honorable Jim Beach, State Senator, 6th Legislative District of New Jersey, will be the keynote speaker for the morning. The ceremony will also feature the music of The Cherry Hill Pine Barons Chorus.

This FREE event is co-sponsored by the American Legion Post 372 and the Jewish War Veterans Furer-Barag-Wolf Post 126. Following the ceremony, attendees can enjoy a free barbecue lunch.

We’d also like to honor our hometown heroes. If you or someone you know has served in the armed forces, please contact us so that you may be honored publicly during the Ceremony.
